I still have not even come out call of duty: vanguard, but it seems that not only the name of the next call of duty was filtered, but we also have the first details regarding their history and gameplay. Apparently, this title will be much more violent than the first and could introduce fully new elements to the franchise.
Tom Henderson, reliable insider of call of duty and battlefield, has revealed the first details about call of duty: Modern Warfare 2, which as its name indicates it, it will be A direct sequel to the Reboot that came out in 2018. According to Henderson, the title will have a morality system based on decisions, which will have an impact on the narrative, which will have explicit scenes of violence and Gore. As for its history, it is said that it will be focused on the conflict against drug cartels at Colombia, something that had already been rumored before.
On the other hand, Henderson mentions that the artificial intelligence of the enemies has been totally improved, for which we will now have much more realistic and natural reactions during the shootings, as well as a new anxiety system that will block some of Our weapons, making the clashes much more tense.
Finally, this insider says that the Task Force 141 will return for this new delivery, although clear, with new characters such as John SOAP MACTAVISH and Simon Ghost Riley. Of course, Activision has not yet said and will not say anything about it, less now that COD: Vanguard is just around the corner.
Editor s note: Modern Warfare It is possibly my favorite saga within call of duty, so the 2019 remake / reboot was definitely an excellent news for me. Knowing that this series will continue in 2022 I get excited enough, and I hope this sequel can meet expectations.
