2022 Nexon-GSOK paper contest awards ceremony, G-Star

Nixon (CEO Lee Dungeon) announced on the 21st that it has successfully completed the 2022 Nexon-GSOK paper contest, co-sponsored with the Korea Game Policy Autonomous Organization (GSK).

The competition was held for the first time this year to develop and expand the academic field related to the game industry. The theme of the competition was 'Nixon Games' influence on domestic society, economy, and culture, and 18 papers were received from June 9 to September 18. Among them, three winners were selected, including the Grand Prize (1, 3 million won), Excellence Awards (1, 2 million won), and Encouragement Prize (1, 1 million won).

The subjects were won by Jungkook National University BAE Sung-hoon, CHO Sung-geun, and BAE June, who submitted a paper on the theme of 'How the combination of mode and IP leads to user participation? The paper received a good evaluation by analyzing the impact of the use of existing IPs in the Mode production game on user participation through the Tapestry World case.

The Excellence Prize was adopted by Lee Tae-hyun and Kim Jong-un's team, 'E-Sports' on the online brand awareness and home game of the professional sports team: FIFA online EK League and K-League. The paper studied the effects of professional sports teams on e-sports on the sports team's online brand awareness, spectators and sales.

In the Encouragement Prize, Rangoon National University's heyday was selected by Jung Network's team 'Nixon Creative City, the Creative City, which is expressed in the digital game space: Nixon Maple Story Analysis'. They analyzed the game justice as a third place in preparation for the place of modern city and the loss of social capital.

Nixon presented the research results at the Joint Society of the Korean Game Law Book Books-GSOK held in BEX CO, Susan during the G-Star period.

An official of Nixon said, Nixon and GSK collaborated and had a lot of fresh research topics from various perspectives in the contest hosted this year.
