PlayStation Plus subscribers criticize Sony as anti

PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS5 criticize Sony after the latest news of PS Plus. Today, Sony announced that it will block the accumulation of PlayStation Plus and PS NOW codes for existing members before the launch of the new PS+ in June, which will add two levels to the subscription service: PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium. Once the price of the new PS+was announced, PlayStation users began accumulating PlayStation Plus and PS Now codes to make the most of their investment, but Sony has ended this lagoon.

If you already have stacked codes, that's fine. Sony is not retroactively eliminating these purchases. You can't say that, if you didn't skip your escape early, you missed it, because it is no longer possible. Sony says this is to ensure "the transition [is] as soft as possible."

"While we prepare to launch the new PlayStation Plus membership service, we are working behind the scene to make the transition as fluid as possible for all our existing members," Sony said about the opportunity. «As part of this work, we have temporarily disabled the accumulation of memberships for existing customers until after launch. Be sure that your coupon code is still valid and can redeem it when your current membership and disable, or after the launch of the new PlayStation Plus service in your area, which happens first.

Optically, what worsens things for Sony is the fact that Xbox, with Xbox Game Pass, has allowed Xbox users to take several lagoons since the beginning of the service. Of course, Sony could have eaten the loss of this lagoon in favor of good public relations, but to be fair, lagoons like this can quickly become losses of millions and millions of dollars. That said, although it is financially understandable, this has not been enough to make it acceptable for many PlayStation fans.
